Hi, I am Ian Hill and I am the Head Chef at The Halliwell Jones Stadium, home of the Warrington Wolves.
My passion for food started back while at the Halton College some time ago.
After I was finished there I went through a learning process in several restaurants developing A la Carte menus for a couple of years. I then moved into what I though a more complex service, so that I could expand my knowledge; and I got into restaurant and function rooms service.
I also developed wedding venues menus and other culinary aspects of my trade for almost 10 years before I started here with the Warrington Wolves.
I joined The Halliwell Jones team as a sous chef back in October 2004 and was promoted to the role of head chef in January 2007. I enjoy the variety that this job role offers and the opportunity it gives me to create new recipes for our guests.
